On both Saturdays and Sundays the club usually runs two rides, determined by numbers present on the day. All riders meet at the Behind Bars shop at least 10 minutes before the start time and sign the ride register. There are a maximum number of 16 cyclists per ride, including a designated ride leader and sweeper. If there are more than 16 cyclists on a particular ride, the group will be split into two, with an additional ride leader appointed, with the two groups going the same route a couple of hundred metres apart.
SATURDAY RIDE: meet time and sign in 06:30 – 06:50, departure at 07:00
The rides are around 90 minutes, arriving back at the shop at 08.30, in time for tea, coffee and cake! The routes are diverse and suitable for riders of all abilities, with a distance of approximately 20-25 miles.
SUNDAY RIDE: meet time and sign in 08:00 – 08:20, departure at 08.30
